Distance: 8.2 miles or 13.2 kilometres
Transport: Park in Thurlaston as there is ample street parking or use Arriva X55 services from Leicester.
Route 5 takes you across the whole western edge of Blaby District, an area that was once covered in a vast forest stretching for miles. On this walk you will read about Leicester's lost forest and visit the fascinating village of Kirby Muxloe. Expect relaxing walks across open country paired with more urban walking.
