This is your chance to win a beautifully hand made and totally unique cuddly fox, created by Blaby District's Cosby Crafters of Cosby Yarn Bomb fame.
All you need to do to enter is take a picture with your favourite Fosse Fox from across the district, tag @visitblaby and post it to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #fossefoxes
The locations of all our foxes can be found on the Fosse Foxes Map.

Meet the Makers
Amy and Kit
Amy joined the Cosby Crafters in 2021 and says it’s the best thing she could have done.
“I always say that Yarn Bomb Land is my happy place. It’s completely bonkers and I love it! I’m in my absolute element. It’s allowed me to be creative again and learn new skills, but has also brought new friendships and so much fun and laughter too.”
When not busy with the crafters Amy loves a family visit to the Tithe Barn for breakfast, and says the pancakes are a particular hit! The family also enjoy a walk or scoot at Everards Meadows with a sneaky cake at Jenno’s too.
Bev and Reynard
Bev finds being a Cosby Crafter great fun, and says it’s good for your wellbeing and sense of community.
In her spare time she enjoys nothing more than a trip to Whetstone Golf Club, where not only can you play a round of golf, but the food is good too.
Diane and Ferdy
Diane loves being part of the Cosby Crafters, and says they are a brilliant group of people made up of different ages and abilities.
“We all join together with the purpose of having a great time and creating lots of different items, and learning new skills.”
Diane’s favourite spots in the district include a trip to Fosse Shopping Park and dinner from Cosby Fish and Chip Shop.
Jan and James
Jan likens the Cosby Crafters as being part of a super group, and says it makes such a difference to her local community.
In her spare time Jan enjoys a walk down Aylestone Way from Everards Meadows, shopping at Fosse Park, and a coffee at Jennos.
Jane and Charlie
Jane loves being part of the Cosby Crafters and gets a lot from it.
“There’s a real sense of community and I’m proud to be part of something that brings happiness to a lot of people. I’m also happy to have made lots of new friends.”
When not busy with the crafters Jane enjoys visiting Jenno’s in Blaby and the Tithe Barn in Cosby. She also likes line dancing in Narborough and taking part in exercise classes at Enderby Leisure Centre.
Jenny and Frank
Jenny finds being part of the Cosby Crafters gives her a feeling of belonging, and says there is a great satisfaction in bringing joy to other people through the yarn bomb exhibitions.
In her free time, Jenny enjoys a visit to Cosby’s Cook in the Nook, Attfields Farm Shop, and a walk around Everards Meadows.
Jude and Red
Jude sums up being part of the Cosby Crafters as friendship, laughter and like-minded people.
She’s also a big fan of the local area, with Fosse Meadows and Everards Beer Hall among her top picks of places to visit.
“Blaby District is a lovely place to live, there’s a great range of places to walk and dine out. Fosse Park is on our doorstep, and Leicester City is only a short bus ride away.”
Karen and Roxy
Karen loves being part of the Cosby Crafters and describes them as a great group of friendly and talented like-minded people.
“It has also given me back a purpose, which I struggled with when I left work, and I now enjoy helping with the community projects and displays. I’m proud to be part of such a great group and have made some wonderful friends.”
Favourite places to visit in the district for Karen include Fosse Meadows with the grandchildren and a walk along Clickers Way in Narborough.
Kirstie and Filbert
Kirstie loves the feeling she gets from being a Cosby Crafter, knowing they are spreading positivity and creativity out in the community.
When not busy working on new creations, Kirstie enjoys walking her dog in Fosse Meadows.
Kylie and Lester
Kylie has made many wonderful friends through her involvement with the Cosby Crafters.
“I love seeing how happy the yarn bomb makes other people that come to visit, and it lets me use my craft and imagination to bring joy.”
When out in the district Kylie enjoys a trip to Fosse Park to try out the wide variety of places to eat, plus a walk around Everards Meadows.
Lesley and Ferris
Lesley has found the Cosby Crafters as a great opportunity to be part of a group that brings wellbeing, joy and happiness, and promotes the power of community.
She loves the history and open spaces that Blaby District has to offer, and particularly enjoys a trip to Bouskell Park which provides a real sense of peace.
Nicola and Frieda
Nicola describes the Cosby Crafters as a great place to meet people whilst doing some of her favourite things. It also makes her feel proud to be part of the community.
During the summer months Nicola enjoys taking her grandchildren to the local parks, having picnics and enjoying the green spaces the district has to offer.
Nova and Flora
Nova loves being a Cosby Crafter and the projects they are able to get involved with.
“I really enjoy belonging to a creative, friendly group who use their many talents to reach out to the wider community.”
In her spare time Nova enjoys walking around the nature reserve in Glen Parva and going to Glen Hills library and café.
Rosie and Fernando
Rosie is a newer member to the group and has been amazed by the community spirit and friendship. She enjoys learning new skills and being part of a wonderful group of talented crafters.
“Being a new resident to Cosby we are just finding our way around the area, the Tithe Barn and Cook in the Nook are great places for coffee and lunch, and Attfields Farm Shop has become a favourite haunt.”
Sara and Roxy
Sara describes being part of the Cosby Crafters as one big family, and says “I feel everyone cares about each other and we have such a laugh.”
When out and about in the district Sara enjoys a trip to Thurlaston Garden Centre for gifts and the café with its delicious food. She also likes exploring the district’s green spaces with the variety of parks and footpaths on offer.
Sue and Poppy
Sue likes the friendship and enjoyment of being with like minded crafters that she gets from being part of the group, in particular the fun and challenge of creating the yarn bomb each year.
When she’s not busy crafting Sue enjoys walking up Croft Hill with her four year old grandson and tucking in to chips from the Cosby Fish and Chip Shop.
Sylvia and Radish
Sylvia loves being part of the Cosby Crafters, in particular having the opportunity to learn new things and meet new friendly people.
Vicky and Felix
Vicky describes being a Cosby Crafter as a chance to let her inner crafter out and share it with other like-minded people and the community.
She enjoys living in the district, especially going to all the garden centres, shopping at Fosse Park and going for walks in the countryside.
"Although it’s so close to the city it feels very rural and open. It is peaceful and has a lot of places to explore.”
